History of Practice


Since 1982, Ronald Stern has been practicing law from Olde Towne Alexandria, Virginia. A wide range of cases were handled in the early years, from misdemeanors and felonies to federal civil rights violations. His cases included a major murder, several attempted murders and drug distribution prosecutions. Representation was provided in the federal courts in Alexandria and the District of Columbia, Virginia Circuit Courts, and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.

Ronald Stern's practice is concentrated on commercial litigation and bankruptcy. The firms practice in the federal courts in Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland have been diversity jurisdiction matters. Two of those cases ended in appeals to the United States Circuit Court for the Fourth Circuit.
